Hi Terri, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My business started in 2018. My love of cooking started young. This love is what made me start a food truck. I love food trucks. They allow you to utilize your creativity when creating a menu. The inspiration behind my business name is my mom, Veronica Gates. She would always tell me to go for your dreams. The name originated because it made me think of how she always says, “It tastes like heaven in your mouth” when something tastes really good. Our specialty menu items included a variety of sandwiches and loaded fries. But some crowd favorites are the Catfish Po-Boy, Cuban Panini, Pulled Pork loaded fries, BBQ pulled pork grilled cheese, beef, chicken, and seafood cheesesteaks.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No road will be smooth. Even freshly paved roads have dips and uneven grooves. I think, just like any business, you will have struggles. Some include employees, food availability in a post-pandemic time, and locations.
