Meet Rama Diallo of Cincinnati

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rama Diallo.

Hi Rama , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, my name is Rama Diallo! I am currently going into my senior year of college at UC, I am a content creator, a business owner, traveler, and much MUCH more. My journey and all of this started in high school when my mom bought me a camera to begin posting on Youtube. It was something that I didn’t take seriously and mostly did for fun until I got to college. College is where a lot of new talents, habits, and interests came from. As someone who believed they were not ready for college at all my freshman year self is so proud at how I’ve utilized the resources available to me . I got to where I am today and earning my “miss do it all” title from the encouraging environment around me, my ability to be creative, and the want to finally find and learn myself a bit more. College is where I felt I began making the best of memories which is what motivated me to begin making content again. It was a way for me to not only share my everyday life experiences and adventures online but also create memories for my friends and I to look back on and everyone can ALWAYS count on me to have captured a moment. Eventually I used all the skills and resources I had around me (and my love for creating memories) to start my own business “RamaPlannedIt” combining my love for traveling and hosting and being able to plan those same memories for others. The first thing I hosted was vision board night in December of 2023 with other events like Galentines, Super bowl Sunday, & 4th of July following. I also come from a family of travelers and I just enjoy exploring new places, foods, and cultures so the itinerary is always a 10:/10! I think all of my life’s experiences have contributed to who I am today which are all things that I am grateful for especially knowing that there is so much more in store!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely the rockiest road ever! I had to overcome a lot of my own struggles like having anxiety which made a lot of things hard for me at times. Also there are just a lot of everyday struggles being a college student especially in the beginning being in a new environment. Something’s I would say I struggled with at first were being the most confident in my abilities, speaking up for myself, & learning to navigate all aspects of adulthood. I also struggled with finding things that were right for me which is why I am always doing something new as a way to explore and figure things out.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I think for others I am mostly known for content just because it’s something people almost always mention. I think for myself having become so multifaceted I am known for doing everything. I am someone who people always say is “on a side quest” which I think is pretty funny but also it’s something I am truly proud of because I recognize the growth in that as someone who used to not really do anything and I appreciate all it has done for me. My ability to indulge in everything while being a creative and tackle so many things is what sets me apart from others and I think it keeps life interesting. I wear a lot of different hats; the nanny, the content creator. RPI, college student, traveler, Miss Black, social media manager, future lawyer, photographer, you name is I’ve probably done it if not yet. I am most proud of how hard I’ve worked, how far I’ve come, and all I have accomplished whether it be school related, emotionally, physically, all of my accomplishments that I have made goals and eventually achieved (big or small)!

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
How shy I am – being a content creator and being involved in as many things as I am I think people think I am a super extrovert and I’m the opposite haha
