Today we’d like to introduce you to Prodigy Twan.
Hi Twan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I didn’t take the traditional route most people expect after high school. College was always the plan, but reality hit hard. I simply couldn’t afford it. Watching everyone else move forward while I stayed back was rough. I had to grow up fast and start working a 9–5 just to help with bills and keep things steady at home. While doing this I had my own dream to chase which was to become a successful content creator. I started off making YouTube videos in high school. I would create skits, vlogs and pranks on my family and friends. But once high school ended in 2020 I started getting into streaming. I put more time and energy into my content which started going good. After work, I’d come home tired but still fired up. I’d grab my phone, turn on the computer, and record reaction videos just me being myself. At first, nobody was really watching. But I kept at it, posting every day, learning how to edit, and slowly figuring out what made people laugh and connect. Then things started changing. People began commenting, sharing, and showing love. I started meeting other creators, building friendships, and learning from people who were chasing the same dream. It wasn’t just about making videos anymore, it was about building something real and connecting with others who want more out of life
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. There were times I doubted myself. Videos flopped, people didn’t always understand what I was trying to do, and I compared my progress to others who had more time, money, or support. But every setback taught me something. I learned that consistency beats talent when talent gets lazy. I learned that growth takes patience — not everything blows up overnight. And most importantly, I learned that being real connects with people more than trying to be perfect ever will. And not everybody that come smiling in your life mean they got good intentions.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a streamer/youtuber. I make reaction videos of anything. I’m known for my reactions videos. what I’m most proud of is when Chris brown reposted one of my videos and top streamers seeing my content. Also working with A list celebrities.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
That I will be the next big streamer that comes out of Cleveland Ohio. And that I appreciate voyage of hearing my story!
