Meet PaDrino J

Today we’d like to introduce you to PaDrino J.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Coming from a family of artist and just from the way I was able to understand the expression from different forms of art I always knew I’d be doing something that had to do with being and artist/creator. From drawing, watching tons of movies, or listening to all types of music I was just into everything I could think of. It wasn’t until I got a bit older that’s when I really fell deep into making music myself, then I was lucky enough to have a camera passed down to me from a good friend, and the rest in history. I started getting into photography and videos more along with the music. I’m also always trying new things to either mix with my arts or just learning new skills. So, for the past 3 years, I’ve been building up my portfolio with that and learning into creating content full-time.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I personally believe that the end goal wouldn’t be as special without the journey, that being said it’s not always going to be a smooth road especially when it comes to working for yourself or learning something new. Even from being an upcoming artist working to get my music pushed or jumping into the photography game and booking clients, there were plenty of times I felt I had to outwork the next person. Just because you are doing something doesn’t mean that everyone else that’s doing that same thing will stop. So, in order to be one of the best you have to stay consistent and constantly be on top of what’s next. Especially if you are working by yourself then all the work is just on you. That’s all part of the game though, you just have to learn how you want to play it.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Lately, I’ve been working on more personal projects but as far as my work I do photography and that allows me to work with a bunch of musicians, brands, or other creators and I’ve also done BTS work on a few films. Plus, I’ve had some work published in articles and billboards. I run a multi-media company called RapidStrike Media and there we handle anything from photos, video/commercial production, marketing, & more. I’m also working a lot on my music projects too and I’ve been honored with having some of my songs published in a film. I just dropped another single “Figure Out” on all platforms. And I’m constantly looking for something new to try out so who knows what I’ll have to add to the list next.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
There will always be changes or new trend going on so honestly within the next few years there are endless possibilities to what’s to come. Hopefully, there will be bigger platforms that support creators more based on what field they are in.
