Life & Work with Osuntola Titilola Oguntoyinbo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Osuntola Titilola Oguntoyinbo.

Hi Osuntola, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For a long time, I had a hard time admitting to myself my story is a love story. It began during a tragic time in my life when I lost my maternal grandmother, and one of my closest friends, while also going through a divorce. I remember feeling lost, disconnected, and empty. Being a single mother of 3, with limited education was a struggle. However, in the midst of all this loss, I began to research my history and culture here in the USA. My research led me to a Spring Equinox weekend retreat on a sacred mound in NC. The conference hall was full with limited sitting left when a group of 4 came in. All of a sudden, this gentleman offered his seat to one of the latecomers and positioned himself to sit next to me. I left 15 mins later. The following day, the same guy stopped me as I walked by and asked if he could speak to me for a moment. After the introductions were made, he skipped right past the small talk and told me he had dreamed of me. At that very moment, his eyes blazed amber. He continued to explain, that he knew we were meant to be together to help each other and the world heal. To say I was skeptical is a huge understatement. Regardless, I gave him my business card intrigued by where this would go. By the way, his name is Ifakunle.

After talking for a couple of weeks, he invited me to an event he was hosting. My hunger for knowledge and my curiosity about him peaked and so I went. When I arrived at the location, the home I stepped into seemed like a mystical museum of sorts. There were these big deity shadows dancing on the walls. The smell of incense and sage permeated the air… All this was foreign to me as my background was in Catholicism, Christianity, and knowledge of some Islam. As I walked into the living room, there were a few other people there. One of the sisters hosting the event began to pray a prayer I had never heard in any of the religious spaces I had previously attended. She started calling down celestial beings, and our ancestors and completely shifted the atmosphere. Ifakunle began to lead us through a meditation. The next thing I know we are chanting and the energy was high. All of this was new to me, but something sparked in me I had never felt.

Soon we were able to take a quiet interlude and went outside for some fresh air. Ifakunle asked me if he could touch me. I agreed. He then rubbed his hands together and placed them on my heart. My heart was healed with a golden light foreign to me. I can still feel the sensation of light and heat to this day 13 years later. From that moment on, life has transformed from a mundane sense of living to an adventurous magical wonderland.

As time progressed, I learned that Ifakunle was living with a terminal illness. When I went with him to one of his initial appointments, the doctors told him he would have 18 months to live if he followed medical instructions, however, if he didn’t, he would only live four months. Our 1st child together was about two at the time. Ifakunle shared with me prior how tried doctor’s prescriptions in the past. He declared he would rather die than undergo medical treatment again. He told me he would approach his disease from a natural perspective. In search of the best course of action, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Alternative Medicine, while pregnant, and working full time. We completely transformed our family living into a holistic lifestyle. This proved to be worth it because he has been medicining free for over 13 yrs. Now, with minimal flare-ups. The doctors deem him a miracle and I ended up giving birth at home to our 2nd child and graduating on the honor roll, walking across the stage with my baby in tow.

Throughout these last 13+ yrs., we have been certified in 4 different systems of reiki. I am a certified holistic doula. We are high priests in ICGROM. We are ordained ministers. We are currently aborisa in the Yoruba tradition of Ifa’. Because of our journey, we have dedicated our lives to the upliftment of humanity through serving the Africans of the Diaspora and other BIPOCs. We offer spiritual consultations and healing ceremonies. We created an evolutionary, innovative healing system, the Etheric Touch, which assists people to awaken and heal on their own spiritual journey. We teach, through the Etheric Touch Mentorship program, spiritual development and empowerment to the community. We have published our first book for the mentorship program. We have facilitated workshops in MD, NC, SC, and GA. We facilitate healing retreats to unify the community. This is how our passion became our business. We teach from the place of knowledge infused with experience based on the traditions of our ancestors.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It most certainly has not been an easy road. In the midst of our journey and striving to restore Ifakunle’s health, we have been without the support of the doctors. We have been discouraged by friends and family members. We have given until we were left with nothing. We were homeless for a year or so. That was incredibly hard especially when we had the income but were rejected due to credit. My identity was stolen. We have lost relationships with family and friends. We have been mocked and rejected. We were forced to uproot from our home quickly and move to another location. When Ifa Kunle’s health regressed, I was forced to leave my corporate career to be his caretaker, which is what prompted us to begin the Enchanted Life and the Etheric Touch Mentorship Program. We downsized our life to make our dream a reality.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are healers first and foremost. We assist to empower people through spiritual development and ancestral practices. Our specialty is the Etheric Touch Healing Ceremonies, where clients undergo healing through the use of indigenous techniques to revitalize their bodies, relax their minds, and connect with their spirits. We offer spiritual consultations to assist our students and clients with practical solutions to daily life.

We have blessed a community garden in our area. We also published our first book this year, Etheric Touch Workbook.

We are most proud to be able to witness, walk and guide people on their sacred healing journey and watch true inner transformation and empowerment.

Osuntola has been nominated in the category of Mystic Constellations: A Healing Star through the Kosmic Nobodies Konvention.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The biggest piece of advice is to believe in yourself. If you would offer your passion for free, then your passion will sustain you as you grow your business. Consistency is key. However, I prefer to look at consistency as those things I will always come back to even when I need a break from it. Resting and walking away for a while is just as important as putting the long hours in. Be the source of your own inspiration. Everyone will not be able to see your dream. However, it is only important you do. You can create your own reality. Be gentle with yourself. You are growing.

Also, love yourself first and foremost because you are the most important person in your life. Self care is never selfish.
