Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Wise.
Hi Natalie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my candle business in 2019. I was 39 years old and my son was 6 years old. I was interested in creating something for myself that allowed me to be creative and also excited about starting my own business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Making candles had been rewarding because it connects me with good people. I love making something that others appreciate and use in their home to make it cozy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve made and sold candles to the Columbus, Ohio community since 2019. My candles are unique because they have hand-placed crystals in them and I try to use reusable vessels when possible.
How do you define success?
I define success as creating something from nothing.
