Hi Martha, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I am a mom to 3 boys and work part-time as an administrative assistant! I began making polymer clay earrings as a creative outlet and quickly became passionate about the craft! Friends and family began showing an interest, so I decided to start selling. I am so glad that I took the risk in starting this small business. It has been such a rewarding experience sharing my art with so many beautiful people! It’s also been great to be able to show my kids that with determination and practice, they can build something of their own too!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing this business has not been easy, but I’ve been so encouraged by my family, friends, and customers to keep going. I’ve learned a lot about managing time and knowing when I need to take a break. The work-life balance is definitely a struggle that I’m still working through! Thankful to have so many supportive people in my life who inspire me to keep working towards my goals.

I sell handmade polymer clay earrings, bracelets, and more! My earrings are unique in that each pair is specially designed, and I use only hypoallergenic materials. I’m most proud of the custom work that I have done. The possibilities with this medium are truly endless and so fun to explore!
