Miranda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started content creating about 6 years ago. At first, it was just blogging where I reviewed products and hauls. Then I started to use my Instagram more. I really enjoyed having a creative outlet since, at that time, I was living in Alabama. I eventually went to school to be an esthetician. Then I moved back to Cincinnati around 3 years ago. I’ve been working in retail since then, and I’m still creating content and influencing on Instagram and TikTok.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I haven’t had the time to always create content. I even dealt with burnout for over a year. It was hard to find motivation and inspiration during that time.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I create content on Instagram and TikTok. I do reviews, hauls, makeup, skincare. I’m known for being authentic and giving my unbiased opinion. I’m really proud of being able to work with the brands that I have worked with. What sets me apart is that I don’t sugarcoat things. I try to give full transparency and am honest with my followers and viewers.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Going to work with my mom when I was 5. I always liked walking downtown with her and just watch her work. I loved spending time with my mom.
