Bringing New Life to a Local Landmark: Chapel Hill Venue
Once a beloved golf course where many in our community spent countless afternoons, the property at 3381 Austinburg Road has been given a brand-new chapter. When it went up for sale, we saw an incredible opportunity to bring it back to life — not as a course, but as a gathering place for celebrations, creativity, and connection. Owned and ran by Terry and his two children, Brittany and Jordan, along with lots of help from their close family and friends.
Now known as Chapel Hill Venue, the space has been transformed into a versatile destination for weddings, showers, parties, and special events of all kinds. Sitting on five scenic acres, it features a beautiful indoor space, a spacious outdoor patio, and full-service beer and liquor packages — everything you need to host an unforgettable event.
Since opening just a year and a half ago, Chapel Hill has already welcomed dozens of joyful occasions — from weddings and graduation parties to baby and bridal showers. But our vision extends beyond private rentals. We’re passionate about creating unique and engaging events that bring the entire community together.
This year, we hosted our first two community events: a Book and Plant Swap, and the inaugural BOOk-tique Bazaar, a family-friendly fall festival that brought over 400 guests to the venue. With more than 50 vendors, five food trucks, live music, children’s activities, horse-drawn wagon rides, and local authors signing books, it was an incredible day that showcased what Chapel Hill is all about — community, creativity, and fun.
As we continue to grow, we’re excited to see what the future holds. Chapel Hill Venue is more than just a rental space — it’s a place for memories, milestones, and meaningful moments. We can’t wait to welcome even more people to experience it for themselves.
